I created an account for my daughter and tried to install it. At this point it demanded that I create an account for me and pay 10p to check that I was an adult. Ok, I guess. But then it absolutely would not let me pay the 10p to conform the account without buying another copy of minecraft.

I obviously strayed in some minor way in the install and it went down a path it can’t get out of. The minecraft support people took 4 days to get back to me and had obviously not even read my email. They asked for information I had already sent them in the original message. I now cannot log into the accounts on the machine I want to install to a iMac as every time I try to log in it skips the login pace. I’ve cleared the cache and nothing. This was something I thought would take 2 mins.

More fool me. I’ve spent hours on this and guess what.. There is no apparent refund path. Very frustrated and with a 7 year old that’s been in tears over this more than once. My daughter was having this issue on her relatively new laptop, but I thought maybe she didn’t have the specs to run it, but I’m on an alienware machine, and I get the same issue.

I can install the free trial on my daughter’s laptop, and she can play it ok, but when I click the unlock full game inside the trial, I just get taken back to the starter collection page where it says the product won’t work on this device.
