On one of our devices whenever the user try to open his outlook it hangs on loading profile and sits there. This happens without closing any other applications or ending any process. Just opening task manager for some reason allows it to open. It will hang until task manager is open 2 minutes or 5 hours doesn’t seem to matter.

Since this issue is odd indeed and it cannot be reproduced on my lab, I did some research and find one thread which might be similar to it. As is Outlook on my Windows 10 laptop, and mobile Outlook on 2 different Android devices.

Opening task manager fixes this also, not closing a program just opening the task manager. It is very peculiar behavior in my experience. Clean boot had no effect. Same issue after clean boot. Could not load profile until task manager was open. It appears to be a winows service that interfereining. Quick repair and full repair had no effect. Creating new profile had none effect. Machine is running Windows 7.
